Boomtown's story
Joanna Lanzirotti, CMP is President of Boomtown Events, LLC, which she founded in 2015. Joanna has over 25 years of success in the hospitality and tourism industry. Boomtown Events is based in Rochester, New York and maintains a client base in New York City, Washington, DC and the Bay Area. Joanna achieves the mission of Boomtown Events through client-centered relationships to create customized and personalized live and virtual meetings, conventions, exhibits, tradeshows, galas, and fundraising events.
Joanna received her Virtual Meeting and Event Management certification in 2020, has maintained a Certified Meeting Professional designation since 2004 and is IATAN accredited. Joanna is also a Managing Partner of Squadra Marketing Collaborative, which consists of K2New Business Development which specializes in business strategies and marketing and CK Design, a graphic design company and Project Pivot, a collaborative, assisting organizations to meet all of their virtual event and marketing needs. Joanna is also a Certified Pandemic Compliance Advisor (PCA) for Meeting Professionals.
